WORK
motion design and animation
This piece was for a contest we held at the Inspire conference at Savannah College of Art and Design. It was a Maxon competition where the students had to
create something that shows that creates inspiration. I worked on this with another guy and we decided after a couple days of deliberating that the best way
for us to do this is to use the idea of paper. Paper has inspired both of us. So then we decided that we would try to use as many mediums as possible to get
this across. We originally had live action, stop motion, 3D and 2d animations going on. But after we picked the sound choice and thought it had to use it, the
live action part made no sense so we cut it. In the end the things I learned from this project was ridiculous! Compositing in this project was huge and then
putting almost every skill in motion graphics to use. The stop motion was shot pretty far away with a canon 100mm macro lens. This was definitely one of my
favorite projects to work on.
